The list of his employers is a who’s-who within the music industry. His industry resume is available at http://BruceBergh.com. Concurrently, Bergh founded BIMT Piano Service and operated two recording studios, assuming the responsibilities of owner, producer, arranger, conductor, engineer and talent. In the later 80’s Bergh was the substitute organist for the Chicago Cubs playing for Harry Caray and the WGN Communications Group. Bergh’s natural talent for marketing, advertising and turning a phrase was a beneficial advantage during the mid-eighties when he spent time creating corporate jingles for radio and television. He has written and produced numerous recording projects in the contemporary Christian music market as well as served at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Liberty, Missouri, as a regular worship leader since 1993. In the fall of 1999 Bergh and his wife, Cindy, founded the Bergh Institute of Music Technology in the Northland of Kansas City. In 2001, he added a subsidiary: DrMIDI.com a web-based conference-video curriculum for the internet, which offers music lesson video downloads and private instruction via web-cam. Bergh is currently in the process of developing a new video MIDI web-camera and publishing a new piano method book for the music education community. Bergh currently resides in Lathrop, MO with his wife and four children.
